My Weight Loss

While I was isolated in solitude I pondered the future with alarm To eat and grow fat day by day Or use the time to lose some weight Fill the gullies of my stretch marks And get in shape while gyms are closed I chose to shed inches and flab To firm my bust like a young deer Tighten the waist, sprawling like towns And turn that ugly cellulite That smiles with treacherous dimpled glee Upon my thighs, into strong muscles I changed my diet and habits And ditched the biscuits, cakes and cheese… Read More

Soul Exchange

True Happiness

To do the washing up And laundry with gladness And see neither as chore But part of cleanliness Is to celebrate life To be awake in Now And enjoy the moment And count it all as gain Resting in the present This is true happiness To be free from worries And not dwell on the past Or dread an unknown future But hold the present fast This is true happiness To have the time to roam Or sit and stare awhile Skywards at drifting clouds Or at scenes for a mile This is true happiness To sleep and rest at n… Read More
