Faith Confessions

Hebrews 11:1

NOW Faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed) and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—Faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by physical senses]

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to (walk with God) and to please Him for whoever comes to God must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who (earnestly and diligently) seek Him

Roman 10:17

So faith comes from hearing and what is heard comes by the (preaching of the) message concerning Christ

Roman 1:17

For in the Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed both springing from faith and leading to faith, (disclosed in a way that awakens more faith). As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”

Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God

Mark 9:23

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes”

Mark 11:22-24

So Jesus answered and said to them “Have faith in God.”
For assuredly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain “Be removed and be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he says, will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask for when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Mathew 17:20

Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly I say to you, If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there” and it will move: and nothing will be impossible for you.”

1 John 5:4

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith

2 Corinthians 5:7

For we walk by faith, not by sight

1 Peter 1:7-9

The genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen you love
Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.
Receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls

Romans 12:3

For by the grace of God given to me I say to every one of you not to think more highly of himself (and of his importance and ability) than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgement, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith (and a purpose designed for service).

Mathew 9:28-30

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them “Do you believe that I AM able to do this?” they said to Him “Yes Lord”.
Then He touched their eyes saying, “According to your faith, let it be to you”
And their eyes were opened.

Mathew 9:20-22

And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, came from behind and touched the hem of His garment.
For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well”
But Jesus turned around and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter, your faith has made you well.”
And the woman was made well from that hour.

James 5:14-15

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Acts 3: 12

So when Peter saw it he responded to the people, “Men of Israel why do you marvel at this? Or why do you look intently at us as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
